B10 Hockey Standings 3/13/15

Standings 031415

Up to the moment standings following Friday night’s games.

Penn State was shutout by Minnesota, while Michigan went into East Lansing and came home with a win. Ohio State also won a shootout in Madison.

That leaves Penn State solidly in fourth place and eliminates any chance for a bye in the opening round of the Big Ten tournament next Thursday. The best the Nits can hope for is a win against Minnesota tomorrow and Michigan beating Michigan State in Ann Arbor. That would leave Penn State tied with Michigan State for third with PSU owning the tiebreaker – and they would face Wisconsin in the opening round of the tournament. Any other outcome of the two games leaves PSU still in fourth place and drawing Ohio State as their opening round foe.
