All six conference teams will take part in a pair of Big Ten contests this weekend. Penn State and Wisconsin will each host Friday-Saturday series. The Nittany Lions will host the Gophers at Pegula Ice Arena, while the Badgers will welcome the Spartans to the Kohl Center. Michigan and Ohio State will face off in a home-and-home series. The Buckeyes will host Friday night’s game with the series finale scheduled for Sunday at Yost Ice Arena.

With four weekends remaining in the regular season, Michigan and Minnesota are tied atop the Big Ten standings with 24 points apiece. The Wolverines and Gophers hold a two-point advantage over Michigan State and Penn State, which are tied for third place with 22 points each. The top two teams in the conference standings will receive a first-round bye at the Big Ten Tournament. Last season, Minnesota claimed the inaugural Big Ten Championship with 45 points while Wisconsin finished second with 40 points.
