The 5-foot-11 freshman forward arrived at Penn State having been a four-sport athlete during her high school years at Lakeville North. She skipped playing high school hockey during her senior year to pursue Nordic skiing. I was in Nordic skiing my senior winter instead of playing for the high school [hockey] team.
