Boston Globe: Road-weary UMass-Lowell nips Penn State

Doug Carr made 35 saves as the No. 16 UMass-Lowell men’s hockey team (8-4-0) fought off fatigue and a pesky Penn State team (3-5-1) to take a 3-2 win Friday in State College, Pa.

Playing their third road game in four nights, the River Hawks (8-4-0) completed a 3-0 trip, getting goals from Joe Gambardella, Stephen Buco, and Adam Chapie.
