Collegian: Big Ten trails Hockey East in challenge after first weekend

Penn State hasn’t even had its crack at Hockey East. Yet, the school and the rest of the Big Ten find themselves in a big hole.

After the first weekend of play in the Big Ten/Hockey East Challenge, the freshman of college hockey trails the powers of Hockey East, nine points to four.

While most of Penn State fans don’t like Michigan, the Nittany Lions, Buckeyes, Spartans, Badgers and Gophers should be thanking the Wolverines.
