Collegian: David Glen’s major penalties derail Lions, raise questions about hitting in hockey

Saturday night, for the second time in as many days, Penn State was forced to play two-thirds of a game without the services of its alternate captain, David Glen.

Glen was ejected from Friday night’s contest after kneeing an RIT defenseman late in the first period. The sophomore from Alberta was then sent to the locker room early in the second period of Saturday’s game after delivering a check to the head of a Vermont forward.
