At 11:45 p.m. Friday night, students and alumni anxiously wait for the highly anticipated sights and sounds of bodies crashing against the boards and pucks bulging the nets in the Pegula Ice Arena.
The men’s hockey team began official practice at 12:01 a.m. Saturday morning in front of an excited crowd to kick off the 2013-14 season.
Players sprinted out to an inspiring introduction and entrained the raucous crowd pounding against the glass by stopping on a dime, flaring ice shavings into the air.
