In the two years since Norm Bazin took over behind the UMass Lowell bench, the River Hawks went from a five-win Hockey East bottom-feeder to a Frozen Four contender and preseason No. 1.
Penn State coach Guy Gadowsky said Bazin and his team taught the Nittany Lions a lesson when the River Hawks handed Penn State two losses at Pegula Ice Arena on Thursday and Friday.
