Penn State’s defensemen got the message loud and clear.Two weeks after head coach Guy Gadowsky challenged his backend to get more involved offensively, freshman defenseman Vince Pedrie answered the call, picking up two assists and registering seven shots on goal. Senior Connor Varley also registered one helper in the Nittany Lions’ 5-2 win over Windsor on Sunday afternoon.
