With 10 minutes to go in the second period last Thursday, Penn State freshman forward Victoria Samuelsson skated up ice towards University of Guelph goalie Stephanie Nehrig. The crowd surged as Samuelsson slapped the puck into the upper right hand corner of the net to score the winning goal for the Penn State women’s hockey team.
