Gophers hockey scores late to tie, but falls 4-3 in OT at Penn State | Star Tribune

Don Lucia is going to have to wait another week for a chance to tie Doug Woog for the most wins by a University of Minnesota mens hockey head coach.

The Gophers fell behind on the road at Penn State for the second straight game before Sam Warning tied things up with 39.6 seconds remaining.

This time, however, the Nittany Lions found a way to come back. Luke Juha scored on the power play with 2:47 remaining in the extra period to defeat Minnesota 4-3 for the first victory over the Gophers in program history.
