Hockey prepares for first-place Penn State | The State News


This weekend, Munn Ice Arena will feature two teams that finished at the bottom of the Big Ten last season. MSU hockey (10-12-2, 4-4-2-2 Big Ten) will face off against No. 19 Penn State (15-7-4, 7-2-1 Big Ten) in a battle of programs trying to turn the corner. The Nittany Lions have been one of college hockeys biggest surprises this season, and come into the weekend having gone 6-0-2 over their last eight games.
