A week after opening Pegula Ice Arena in style with a 4-1 win over Army, the Penn State men’s ice hockey team hits the road for a two-game set with the Air Force Academy.
The Falcons, like the Black Knights last week, won’t be as foreign as some future opponents the Nittany Lions will face this season; they split a weekend series with the Nittany Lions last year. Penn State hosted Air Force at the Greenberg Ice Pavilion last November, losing the first game 5-1 before defeating the Falcons by the same scoreline the following day.
