The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed UFA forward Casey Bailey of Penn State to a two-year entry level contract, the team announced Saturday.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Anchorage, Alaska native just finished his third season with Penn State University, where he led the Big Ten conference in scoring (22) and also tallied 18 assists for a total of 40 points in 36 regular season games. There was reportedly a ton of interest from NHL teams trying to acquire Bailey’s services.
