Penn State is starting the second half of the 2014 season atop the Big Ten. Guy Gadowsky’s Lions’ (10-7-2, 4-2) are co-leaders of the six team hockey conference with Michigan (12-7-0, 4-1) with 17 games to play. The program has been on the road more than it has been home of late, but after splitting a home series with Ohio State next weekend, the Lions are at home for the rest of January.
