Penn State knows it can’t replace Taylor Holstrom.

And when coach Guy Gadowsky put Tommy Olczyk on his line with Casey Bailey and David Goodwin, there was no intention of even trying to pretend like he won’t be missed.

“We’re absolutely hurting with Taylor gone. He was such a huge part of our team, a phenomenal individual,” Zack Saar said. “He is the most perfect example of Penn State hockey. But, at the same time, we’re pushing through.”
