Penn State men’s hockey sticking with goalie P.J. Musico – The Daily Collegian


When Penn State lost to Minnesota on Friday, there wasnt too much coach Guy Gadowsky was happy with.

Plaguing itself with a slew of penalties, the weak penalty kill couldnt keep up with the nations top-ranked power play unit in Minnesota. Penn State simply couldnt garner any sort of momentum.

But the one constant the team did have was goaltender P.J. Musico. And that consistency in net helped lead the Nittany Lions to a 4-3 overtime thriller, their first win over Minnesota in program history.
