On a day when the cause was much bigger than a hockey game, the Nittany Lions answered the bell and got a crucial win, earning two points in the conference standings. Saturdays game was the annual Skate for the Cure game, in which the Lions donned special pink and white jerseys to raise breast cancer awareness. The Lions defeated Syracuse 4-2 at Pegula Ice Arena.
