Penn State’s Scott Conway gets ejected for elbowing Vinni Lettieri in the face after goal (VIDEO) – SB Nation College Hockey

Scott Conway’s response to Vinni Lettieri scoring Minnesota’s fifth goal Friday with 2: 47 remaining was one that caught everyone’s attention and left the Gopher sophomore face down on the ice. The Penn State freshman hit Lettieri, who twice this season has left games blocking a shot with his helmet, with a punch or elbow he never saw. Conway was given a 5 minute major for contact to the head and a game misconduct.

NOTE: Conway was suspended for tonight’s game as a result of this hit.
