PITTSBURGHA five-minute major penalty left the Penn State mens hockey team in a deep hole, and it was never able to crawl out of it Monday night.

No. 19 Robert Morris scored twice during the major, and it proved to be the difference in a 4-2 victory over the No. 20 Nittany Lions on the opening night of the Three Rivers Classic at Consol Energy Center.
