Quinnipiac continually peppered Penn State goaltender Hannah Ehresmann with shot after shot but the freshman netminder could not be solved. Ehresmann recorded 45 saves on 46 shots in the tie. In a game which the offense was plenty, Quinnipiac registered 45 shots on goal in the game but only found the back of the net one time.
