UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State men’s hockey goaltender Eamon McAdam had to hold up A.J. Fry under the armpits to help keep him on his skates at Pegula Ice Arena.

The 5-year-old was slipping and sliding so much, he could hardly keep his feet on the ice.

“It’s too slippery,” A.J. said.
