WHoc: Women’s Hockey Sunk by Union’s Power Play, 2-1

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The largest crowd to see a Penn State women’s hockey game saw a hard-fought contest that went the way of the Union Dutchwomen, 2-1, on Friday night at Pegula Ice Arena in front of 1,424 fans.

Union (3-3-0) scored on a pair of power plays to earn their first win in four games, while Penn State (1-3-1) found the net on a Shannon Yoxheimer (Jackson, Mich.) rocket in the second period.
