247: Penn State hockey falls on road to Air Force

One week after winning the Pegula opener in style, Penn State (1-1-0) experienced a reversal of fortune as the Nittany Lions fell easily on the road to the Air Force Falcons (1-2-0) 5-2, suffering their first loss of the season in the highly anticipated debut of goaltender Eamon McAdam.

Penn State was outmatched from the opening faceoff as Air Force jumped out to an early 2-0 lead. Less than five minutes in, Scott Holm tapped in a rebound to put the Falcons on the board first. Just over a minute later, Tony Thomas extended the lead by scoring from the slot.
